Just got this a couple of months ago.
Amazingly there are NOS HP2 badges out there. I have a pair...Don't lose those emblems.
Even worse to lose is the hood ornament. Yellow is unusual.
Daffodil Yellow. I am kinda partial to it. That is the colour of my '67 R/T.Even worse to lose is the hood ornament. Yellow is unusual.
I think that the build date is about December 16. its a 4 speed. Since those pics were taken in California it was sent to Me in Massachusetts and I have re assembled the car and installed the legendary seat covers and seat foams that came with it. I found some 5.5 inch steels and i think correct wheel covers, and 225 70 14 T/A radials, and put about a thousand miles on it. its a nice driver. Its real close to being a no rust car too.Wow! That is quite a score. Nice solid project by the looks of it. Automatic or 4-speed? HP2 car; would be built towards end of 1965.
Me too.Amazingly there are NOS HP2 badges out there. I have a pair...
Nice! I thought of putting a Charger front grill in my 1967 Coronet wagon when I had it. Instead, I made my car into a one-of-none 1967 Coronet R/T 3-seat 440, 4-speed wagon. My friend was always having problems with the retractable headlights and relays on his 1966 Hemi Charger at the time, so I shied away from the conversion.
Correct, the Spinners are Satellite onlyThese are the covers that came on my Satellite. No spinners on Belvedere II's I believe.View attachment 1481355
