Is this not the coolest country! we get to have such nice cars and enjoy time driving them!
Here's my 66 satellite vert turned gtx. A 440 was dropped in prior to restoration, and now it's out and a 440 from a real 67 gtx has been dropped in. The trans also from a 67 x. Almost all other parts for the resto have come from a 67 hemi gtx including the hood, trunk lid, rear end, and a few other goodies. Even still have the 426 hood ornament!
Car is painted snakeskin green pearl, and closer to being done than this pic shows.
Yes but it will be a fine auto when you are done thats what i want to see is the real cars that people work on for yrs before they enjoy them and after they are done tell us more about what you have planned.?
Here are a few pics of my 440 that I'm converting to an R/T. Anyone have any parts for sale?
Sorry for the poor quality pic, but it's all I could find right now. It was taken last summer when we were building the garage.
As you can see, the old girl needs work, but she drives. Slant six, three-on-the-tree. Hopefully someday, 360 (Magnum?) and four-speed.
