yesterday was bath day at the Mopar Orphanage! I hope you enjoy the Pictures. The 67 charger isn't mine, it was until my good friend restored it. I know the 68' and 77' aren't part of the 66-67' model Years,, but hopefully you will allow them to be a part of the group!
monaco66coupe, nice 1st gen. Is it a '66 or '67? It has '67 seats but no signals on the fenders. Still a way nice car. Like the color. All are nice, thanks for posting.
It is a 67'. I bought it in phoenix in 2006, and sold to a friend of mine in 2009. It was a 318 auto car, but now has a 68 440. I didn't think about the turn signals, did all 67's have them?

In addition to 67 seat covers, you have a 66 console with 66 arm rest in the rear AND the armrest is black (dark at least) with a white interior. Should be white.
Someone played with it a lot before you got it apparently.
Lots of ways to tell if it is true 66 or 67.
Turn signal arm, dash knobs, the plate under the steering column, sway bar, etc. You never know what has been changed over and added over the years.
See http://www.chargersourceguide.com/66_67Differences.html for a few.
Here is a note on the sway bars http://www.chargersourceguide.com/swaybars.html
Thanks for the 66-67 tips, we rebuilt the 67' with many 66' parts. it was originally a 318 car, now it is all GTX from the torsion bars back to the differential. 1968 440 engine. All that is left of that 66' is the grill, and we are preparing to Install it in my 66 Coronet sedan, just like that Mexican model posted recently. That should really change the look of the coronet. Here is what the grill is going into. Thanks again!
Love that GTX man! Wow thats some nice paint, reflection for days! What size tires are you running? Had my heart set on some 500s but my eyes keep wandering...
