My new favorite 67 … original paint survivor..

I attended the Mopar Nationals in Ann Arbor in 1985, and saw a low mileage Daffodil Yellow 1967 R/T there. I fell in lust with the car and its colour, and took a lot of pictures of it. This inspired me to find my own '67 R/T, which I did a couple of years later. The car was a solid N.C. roller that I discovered locally. It was Turbine Bronze, with a black vinyl top, and in need of a paint job, powertrain, and interior make over. Remembering the Michigan R/T, I decided to repaint it in Daffodil Yellow.
At the time, my inspiration car was wearing Magnum 500's and Redlines, instead of Cragars. I wonder if this could be the same car I saw so many years ago?

What's the doo mmahinkey by the fuel door?
Its a lock, for the gas flap I presume. My dad pointed at it and said "ah, fuel crisis car" haha.

Definitely! It's an original GG-1 Green 383 4-speed car. I'm very happy with it. I used to go by Cherry Bomb on here back when I had the red 318 charger, when I came across this one I knew I had to make it work. Maybe one day it'll look as nice as yours. Not for a while though haha.

Not mine, but an exact color look, mine had the gorgeous red interior, 383 auto.
I've owned over 400+ cars, some for a week, some for years, some just to flip over the last 45+ years, but I miss my 66 most of all, I've had Cuda's challenger chargers coronet satellite road runner, rams old dodge trucks, but nothing compared to the feeling of owning the 66, I'd trade every car/project to have one again, just too many irons in the fire to buy outright, doubt I'll own one again:BangHead:
