MOPAR[ My Old Pig Ain't Running]. Faulty magnetic pick up and one bad wire connection to it. At least it was an easy fix plus I got towed by a Dodge.

The Ride of Shame! I've been there, too. Sheared off alternator bolt. I asked the truck driver if he could wait until after dark to drop it off, so my Chevvie and Ford neighbours wouldn't see it. He didn't think my CAA card would cover that. LOL

Today I was able to put my freshly coated cop wheels on with some new Cooper tires. 235/70-15 on front, 255/70-15 on the back. The rears were fun getting them in place even after putting stand under the front hangers and letting the suspension/diff droop down. Next time around I may deflate the tires. According the the tech at the tire shop, one of my front wheels is bent some. I marked it and will see how it does. I do have a cop wheel w/tire in the spare well. Will put that on some time and check the runout. If it's good, I'll get it blasted and coated, then swap out with the other. I thought the covers off my 14's would fit on the cop wheels. Nope, too big. Gotta chase down some dog dish units and see if anyone wants the ones from the 14's. I like the drop in RPM going down the road with the taller tires. Plus it looks way nicer.

The '68 caps are same style as your large '67 caps, but smaller and will fit your cop wheels. My favourites are the '69 Red Stripe caps, but they have gotten ex$pensive.

Just got back from a Friday night test n tune.
Still getting to grips with the 5 speed manual TKX. I was at 14.1 @ just about 100 mph with the 727. Tonight only managed 14.8 @ 97. The auto was much easier to launch, but the manual is much more fun.

Not exactly the same, but similar.

Here is early version of my wagon, with pimped out Cop wheels; ralley centres and trim rings. Later version ala R/T, with painted wheels and Red Stripe caps.

Check out that interior-

I've never seen yellow with black and gold.

I've seen green, black, gold, and white but not yellow.

Supposed to be original paint.

Chargersourceguide verifies E is black/gold.

Usually a manual transmission car will out mph an auto, but have a slower et with everything else equal.

Wasn’t your 14.1, 100 mph in June or July? Is that you winter/cold season? Don’t underestimate the impact atmospheric conditions can have.

Thanks for sharing.

my '70 duster came with sunfire yellow paint and a blue interior. one of the reasons it's flat black now.
