Let's see some engine shots !

Do these have to be street engines?

I love this pic. It reminds me of the time I walked into the garage of a school friend and saw a slingshot dragster sitting there just like this one. It had injector stacks on it, though. That was some time in the late '60s or early '70s when just about any racing enthusiast/weekend warrior might have their own fuel dragster at their house that they were playing with on the weekends. Those days are long gone, now, but thanks for the memories!

I have a 359" Poly stroker, I'd like to try the intake manifold I see on your engine on my next build. Were there any problems with the install....Nick T.

No problems whatsoever. I started with an old Weiand 7503 that I was going to use. Had lots of problems with it fitting. Finally gave up and spent the money on the Wind Tunnel. It ain't cheap, but it was worth it.

Thanks for the info, I'm using a single plane 7503 now, looking for a dual plane on my next build.

Tonight the Polys take over!
'66, bored .040 over, ported heads with 2.02/ 1.60 valves, '62 cast iron 4bbl intake, Edelbrock 650 avs and 1" phenolic spacer, original cam ground by Schneider to .462 lift 262 duration, TTI ceramic headers and complete 2 1/2 dual exhaust.

I crinkle painted the valve covers and added "Poly Head 318" decals...The way the SEMI-HEMI should have come. I also kept the power robbing (one lunger) single piston a/c compressor for the nastalgia of it.

Awesome! I've got some of those decals around here too. Bought them before I started the build and forgot about them. Thanks for reminding me. :D

Nice. I would've liked to get some of those finned covers, but couldn't afford it after buying the manifold. :D
These finned covers are made by Fountain in Austrailia.

These finned covers are produced by Craig Fountain in Austrailia. He makes them for the A-series Poly as well as the Spitfire Poly.
