My Savoy, our as I refer to it "grandma's car", the day I bought it (with /6), then after the drag radials and 440 install and then a the track with my step dad's fury
Still in the sellers drive way, at the time of this picture. She's an unmolested 67' Belvedere grandma's car. This spring i hope to re-engine her. Want to find a good 400 BB, but that's a slim chance. For the money, I just may buy a 360 magnum late model, out of a salvage yard.
I thought this '63 Wagon deserved a place on the porch with da Big Dogs. I have way too many to keep it but wanted to show pics before someone buys it.
My wife's Christmas present. She went with me to look at it and loved it. I surprised her by registering and insuring it. I gift wrapped the plates and gave them to her Christmas morning. We took our two dogs for a ride in it the next day.
It looks good in the pictures but has it's problems. It's definitely at driving project car, bottom of the doors are full of bondo, drivers fender bolt at the cowl is broke (the guy that restored it 20+ years ago tacked the fender in place), 440 is out of a 78 motorhome and has a crack in the passenger side cylinder head (currently looking for a new 440). I plan to build a new motor, swap in an A833 4 speed, and rebuild the front suspension. Then in 10-15 years I'll do a full restoration, that way it'll be done before I retire…
