Sorry for my ignorance, but I'm not real familiar with the Aussie/Queensland Mopars body style from down under areas of the globe, they are close to some of our cars here in the U.S. of A., what years are which cars ??, what engines are in which cars ??, & are they Darts Valiants Chargers or what ?? or are they completely different models/body style & years form the U.S.of A. counterparts??, can you elaborate some ??, & educate me some please...LOL...

Nice little mopar gathering!! That would constitute a show in this neck of the woods. In fact it takes a Mopar Show to bring out that many Mopars around here...
Pssssssttt, wanted to point out that the steering wheels are on the wrong side of the cars though :)

Budniks,
All the more common Aussie built Valiants are A body platform.
The early 63-70 A body came in sedan, wagons and utes only.
The USA 67-9 Dart coupe bodyshells are basicly the same as the OZ but only ran for 69-70 here. OZ Chry did not use the Post bodies. But used the similar 67 style grill/front clip and later 70 OZ only grill/front clip. OZ cars ran either 215,245 6cyl ,273 or 318 V8s.Note no sidemarker and rear bumper blinkers req'd for OZ amongst other suble body changes .
The later71-78 Charger coupe and sedan/ute/van platform ran pretty much from 71-81 around the time Chry OZ closed its doors to Mitsubishi. They came in in sedan/coupe/ute/van bodies and ran 245,265,318, the limited run HP265/webbers and E55 Charger 340 and more common but limited 360 Charger/Luxury sedan/coupe. Theres other details, but thats about the short rundown!

Mostly all the platforms kept the same shell with only front and rear cosmetic and dash changes etc over the model years. The pre71 models are verry similar to their USA cousins in parts. Using a BorgWarner rear axle, 904 or 727 autos and small pattern wheels up to 70.

cheers Dave

That silver Aussie Charger R/T is SICK! Wow, thanks for the great pics!

Only car missing was the last of the V8 interceptors!

Do cars have to be converted to right hand drive (wrong hand drive), lol, when registered in Aus.?

Im a Mopar guy all the way but I would own a 72 Xb Falcon done up as a Mad Max clone! Has to be my favorite movie car bar none!

Not any more....kinda.. Most states in OZ can be left hand drive if the car is 30yrs or older. 2 states they can be left hand drive if 25yrs or older.
You can swap to RHD if you prefer, most just leave them LHD now.

Couple of my cars done back in the days when they HAD to be RHD. [check out the blinkers on the T/A]....I need to ship my 70SS396 Chevelle over for a Woodward Ave cruise nite! The pax dont get to chat-up the babes! lol..
