Location of emergency lights flasher 69 Charger

My emergency flasher lights do not work on my 69 Charger and I think the flasher is missing. I have spent way too much time trying to find the flasher or the socket. It has to be buried somehere under the dash. The service manual says it's located to the left of the glovebox, but I've been unable locate it. Turn signal and brake lights work. Any ideas on where to find the flasher is appreciated.

One is located to the left of the steering colume behind the dash other is on the drivers side of the ash tray behind the ash tray. Cant remember which is which though.

dont they slot into the bottom lip of the dash frame ?

You're right stu! One slot is to the left of the column, the other is just to the left of the ash tray. Located on the inside bottom lip of the dash. But, most of the time folks just cram the new flasher on and shove/tuck it back up/over the wiring..lol If I rember correctly, the one next to the ashtray is the hazards.
