Remember the white powder scares, then the suspicious packages? Now it's "man with a gun. San Jose City College locked down, no perp found. Whitehall High School locked down, no gun found. Reactionary bullshit we have to go through after tragedies happen.

I remember the Oxyclean scares. LOL People thought they were getting Amthrax and it was only
the Oxyclean(white powder) falling out of the boxes because the cap came off in shipping.
Oxyclean had to tape their jars/containers after that. It even said Oxyclean on the boxes????

Chicken Little...the sky is falling...they shut down our library because someone had a rifle on a rifle rack the guy was told by the sheriff that probably not a good idea to park in front of the door...mass panic abounds...Marla

I posted a story a while back about a school going on lockdown and calling in the HAZMAT team because a kid brought in an old style mercury thermometer. It didn't break....they just freaked out at the possibility it could.

Even chicken little was more composed than these skittish mfers. Just build schools like prisons in underground bunkers with a tank batallion guarding the entrance and full body cavity searches before you can enter the bunker. These people are CRAZY and they are teaching our kids.

I was listening to the scanner for St. Mary's County, MD yesterday morning, and the sheriff's office coded two units to an elementary school because some guy, reported as a disabled vet, was at the school complaining about their lack of decent security! I could hear the deputies reporting their progress to the scene with the sirens blazing. Talk about overkill.

So sad, It's too bad we live in a world now, where we are teaching & raising our children to be a bunch of spineless pussies, that are afraid of their own shadows, instead of being proactive about these event, be on the look out & be proactive, do something to improve the situations... Instead everyone on the left just panics, talks about needing more gun control or plays on the fear of others, to propagate their own personal agendas & those are the people teaching or in-charge of our children & their saftey... Way too many people over reacting to a recent Hannis event in Ct.... No Thanks, we don't need, More skittle farting rainbow chasing unicorn hunters, afraid of their own freaken' shadows, more of this type of hysteria will go on & on, until the culture in our public schools & local govt.'s are changed & hopefully very soon....
