Hi Mopar guys! I'm Aston, long-time car guy & private buyer looking to purchase a super-nice & clean, ready to rock '67 Dodge Charger. I noticed a specific '67 Charger on consignment in Grand Rapids and I'd prefer to buy direct from the owner, not the dealer. Can anyone put the seller and I together directly?

Thanks.

Best regards & Happy Holidays.

Hi Aston, welcome :wav:

Good luck with your purchase, I hope you stay on as a member here when you get your car.

Welcome! Good luck! Not many chargers around my area, but I'll keep my eyes open

welcome to FBBO form NorCal

Welcome and good luck on the search. :hello2:

Welcome aboard!
Thanks for joining the Forum.

As for your question about someone "Linking" both the seller and you..?
Potentially but, to me it seems the seller needed the Consignor to get his/her car "out into the publics eye"

There are plenty of cars to go around...look around..and good luck.

PS: I did a "search" on Craigslist Michigan+Grand Rapids and found a 67 Charger for sale "by Owner" for $2,500
Could that be the car?

Welcome aboard Aston !!..." i too will keep my eyes peeled for ya "

Thanks guys! You are a most welcoming and gracious bunch.

Hey there MoPar guys! You sure made me feel welcome here. I found the specific car I was looking for quite quickly. Someone put the Michigan seller together with this California buyer and I hope all goes well. I have been a member of lots of Owner's Clubs -- from the exotic Italian cars with the gold chain set, to British steel loony owners picnicing at a polo match, all the way to gregarious American Iron owners eager to help. It's all fun, one can meet great like-minded new friends and networking can be important. I hope to check-in with you guys from time to time.

Happy Holidays, Aston

Thank you, fellas! I found the one I was looking for.

Hmmmm, trailer hitch mounted and hay still in the trunk!... that's pretty hard to resist. But I think I'll pass. Like I said, I found the specific car I set out to find -- the seller and I have had excellent communications to confirm condition, easily agreed upon fair terms and I am arranging enclosed transport west. This '67 Charger will join a pristine '69 AMX, a second owner and very original '71 Buick boat-tail Riviera as well as some nice British Steel. I appreciate the well-wishes and good vibes -- will let y'all know how it turns out when the car arrives around the middle to end of January, 2015.

Best regards & Happy Holidays!
