WTB LOOKING FOR 1971-1974 RR REAR FRAME RAILS

I bought a 71 RR and the car has been “backed halved” and I wanna convert it back to stock... looking for anyone with the whole rear frame

and I heard E body frame rails will work too.
If someone can confirm this that will be awesome

a member of this board got 74 rear frame rails for sale. The only diff I'm aware off with 71s it could be the bumper guard attaching provisions. He is selling on facebook. Rob Olszanski. I can't recall his nickname here...

I have a very clean nice set of rear frames rails from a 72 Charger with the cross member and duel exhaust brackets that I'm not going to use. PM me if interested. Near KCMO

He has been parting out A 74SE drilling out by the welding spots the entire car since mid year last year. That advertising on the facebook group is maybe 3 weeks old.

I think his nickname here is weaz..... something ( some numbers )

any 71-74 B body 4 door can donate what you need. Identical underneath as 2 doors. In fact, other than the bumper shocks and related holes, the 75-81 B and R bodies use the same rails too. So any Cordoba, Monaco, or St Regis uses the same rails. AMD make a nice trunk floor if needed

There are no bumper provisions on the rails 71-74. Bumpers mount to huge reinforcements on the tail panel

I know the reinforcements you meant BUT 74s are different and got bumper guards bracket provisions. The bumper bottom brace on 74 guards attach straight to the frame rail. Square holes to fit U nuts for the braces bolts. Dunno on laters

One difference is the driver frame has an oval hole for the 4 fuel vapor lines that is on 71 and 72 to May built cars. I've seen the hole in 73 frames but not in 74 frames.

Here is what I have for 71-4 rails. All from desert cars but have been still out here in the desert. Mild surface rust. I can ship these truck freight but will probably be around 150.00. Shoot me a PM if your interested.
Here is the 71-5/72 oval hole.
Also the 74 Charger bumper guards braces that Nacho talked about.

Are you sure about that? Sedan trunk pan is longer. So are the intermediary floor pans. Front frame is the same 71-72 and 73-74. Front floor pan and rear seat pan are the same 71-74.

Yep 4-dr and 2-dr rear frames are the same. 4-dr trunk pan is an 1" longer than the 2-dr. Rear footwell pan is longer on the 4-dr.
