I have a 71 RR with A/C. Looking for a bracket that is welded to the evaporator core to keep them straight and secured. It sits between the two halves of the heater box. In fact, when you put the two halves together, one bolt goes through the half of the heater box and into this bracket. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Did you find one, Mark? Or anyone?

There you are. Couldn't remember where your ad was. Heres the core. Not sure which part your talking about. The plate welded to the top?

Its like that but not exactly. The core and bracket is different in the picture you posted. Mine is welded to the tubes. This backet doesnt have the two screw/bolts like the one you posted. Mine was welded to only one side of the tubes and had a tab. This tab had a hole in it so that when you put the halves of the box together, one of the screws would go through the box and into the tab, securing the bracket to the box.

I'm not sure what year this box is. Number on the front housing is 3502189 which I can't find in my 71 parts book. Thinking it's a 72 but I don't have a 72 book. Book does state a change in 3/71 on the front housing and evap core. The 3502 number is in line with the 3502 numbers for after 3.71 in the book. Before they are 3441 numbers.
I have another 71 and a 72 box still to pull from their cars. Both have bad rear housings so I'll part them out aswell.
They numbers and changes are the same for E-body aswell.

Sounds good Mark, THANKS
