I have a 3438177 apart that I was planning to rebuild. It was never touched before I took apart. If interested I will get some pictures together of the parts.

Yes of the case halfs!

Not sure this will help. I have this but I can’t find any part numbers on it. Got it from a salvage yard from a 65 Dodge many years ago. Used it on my 65 /6.

The one I have is one number off. Probably no good for you. Also the front housing is cracked and missing part of an ear.

Just to be clear, your looking for a 70 alt that hasn't been rebuilt, or "blasted"?
All my cores are 2 halves rescued from my alternator pile of 40 years. No virgin cores.

Really nead the back case with the number.
