Looking for a oil dipstick spring.

Have a 74 Satellite with a 400 in it and looking for the spring piece that goes in between the top of the dipstick tube and the dipstick. Would any sites sell just that piece? Will buy a new tube and dipstick if I have too just trying to avoid it. Thanks.

Never heard of a dip stick spring, is it along the lines of muffler bearings and blinker fluid?

Now THAT would make more sense, but I doubt it's serviceable.

All I can tell you all is that it was a metal springy spacer that set right below where you grabbed on to when you pulled the stick out.
