Looking for Fender Tag/ Broadcast Sheet or any info 68 RR VIN RM21J8A328144

Good luck. Nice thing about a Mopar of that vintage, The VIN tells you it was a Hemi car. Try that with ‘68 Chevelle L78 396/375.

Looking for any info on this RR
Care to drop by the Welcome Wagon and share the story or a few pics of the car? -------> Welcome Wagon

'68 HEMI post car sounds nice.

Title or Reg should have the VIN.

I assume you have the dash VIN. That’s the only place the sequence # will be on a ‘68. Since your car having a high #, the SO would be on the rad support. But that only matches the fender tag SO #.

The only things I have are the title and the car. VIN, Fender Tag, and Broadcast Sheet. All gone. I have a Hemi title and Hemi car with nothing to connect the two

You probably have to get a state issued VIN. Certain things will show it was a Hemi car but, without a factory VIN tag…I do hope you find the docs.

I checked with the county where I live. That may be a possibility. But then I really have nothing to tie the Hemi title to the car. It makes my title obsolete. I'm better off doing nothing, and treating it like my sofa, looks good sitting still. At least the way it is I have a bad *** story.

Does your car have two partial VIN's (last 8 characters of the 13 character VIN) stamped onto the radiator support and trunk drip rail (under the weatherstrip)?

I’m not sure if Texas will do a prior owner search for you. If you could find someone, the dealer, with original paperwork. It might have the SO #.

Yes, but in 68 they are vehicle order numbers, not partial VINS. You need the fender tag or broadcast sheet verify VIN to VON

I have doc's back to the late 70's as far as owners. I have yet to be able to find any info on them. I did reach out to Galen Govier, hopefully I may have some luck there.
Have you looked into where the car may have been sold via the Title information?
Or is that a dead end?
