I would not even consider less than 30k cash for mine. It has the fender tag, Dana 60, and a date correct 440 4 speed.

It is certainly a nice car rocketman. I didn't say anything about what your car or all GTXs are worth though. I was just saying I've seen several cars sell or advertised, including some very nice ones here on FBBO for ~$30K. "~" means approximately NOT exactly or no more than $30K.

What I meant was in the $30K range or $25-$35. Obviously the nicer the car the more it would be advertised for and get. There are those that sell for more or less depending on many factors such as options like the 4 speed Dana your car has, fender tag, quality of restoration, color, and final result.

The car the OP asked about is not as nice as your car and does not have a fender tag and is not a 4 speed Dana car. He asked for opinions and I gave mine. No offense intended to you or anyone else or any type of car with or w/o fender tags.

There are other GTX's selling that are much nicer newer builds with fender tags for ~$30K which is much cheaper than this one will cost you in the end.

I have nothing against GTXs'. Many of my friend have them.

Tallhair - and FBBO group, what I really appreciate is that you guys know your cars, and point out things like " the car has been hosed down to look shiny ", and you guys have been around the block and know how these things are priced, and probably how they should be priced. That helps me out and teaches me ( "us" ) what to look for when ( and if ) I start to look for another car after I complete my current project. Thanks for all your insight and thanks for helping us with your thoughts on these cars ! ! !

No offense taken, I have been looking at 85 or older Jeeps and Scramblers I would consider taking one of those and some cash for my car if it was the right one.
