Hi all, My name is Austin. I am a 23 year old mopar addict.

I currently have an all original 1971 Duster 340. The reason I am into mopar is the stories my dad told me when I was growing up about his 69 roadrunner (he sure did some stupid sh*t in that car!). Anyway, I would like to either find his car (doubtful) or find one exactly like it. My goal is to find a car, restore it if need be and surprise him with it!

Of course it is the most odd color combo. Here is the broad configuration:

1969 Road Runner
383
4 speed
L1 Sand pebble beige with a saddle brown vinyl roof
Two tone brown interior with black carpet

Last seen in 1975 in North West Iowa.

Has anyone seen a comparable car to this?

:welcome: aboard!

Good luck on finding your dad's RR.

Sent you a PM. There was a car like that at the mopar show in Sioux Falls several years back. I sent you some info on someone who might be able to help you.

Hi Austin, welcome:wav::wav:

I hope you have good luck finding the car. It actually sounds like a nice colour combo.

welcome to FBBO,
not that I remember seeing

good luck

I have received a picture from the previous owner and in the process of getting the VIN. As far as I know now, it was last sold in the Pipestone Minnesota are in 1980 or 1981.

Austin welcome and show us pics of the 71! As for your dads car, understand we are MAYBE 1% of all classic Mopar owners in the nation.... the odds are not good we would know the car. Follow the above leads and good luck

Sounds like you're hot on the trail Austin. I hope you find her. You're dad would be so proud of you and thrilled at the same time. Welcome to FBBO as well.

Any info on the VIN or the lead from Sioux Falls?

No, I have not found it yet. But I do have an update!:

It was last traded in and sold at Drenkow motors in Sheldon, Iowa in the late 1980's, or possibly early 1990's. It had been repainted to a dark brown color, with the vinyl top removed, and had a 6 pack hood scoop added. Here is the latest known photo: I have tried running the plates, but no records exist this far back. If you know anything about this road runner or know anyone who can help me please send me a PM!

You're a real Sherlock Holmes. Keep tracking her down. Good luck in finding either your dads car or one you like to restore.
