I know it's along shot, but here it goes:
Last december, I bought a 69 Satellite, mint condition, about 55k miles, 318, A/C, Alpine White, blue interior, was previously sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2009. The seller then was from California, he bought it from the original owner around 2003. The car has probably been stored from 1988-2003 by the original Ohio owner. Seems it has been wearing Keystone Klassic mags from almost day one, that might make it recognizeable by someone in Ohio. From this pic that came with the car, he has a daughter named Michelle... That original owner must have shown it, maybe went to Carlisle or the Nats? Heck, maybe he's a member of this forum? Anybody's seen it before?
Thanks!

This is what Bob looks like today, the California owner gave him a total resto in 2006. I like the fact that he kept it as a Satellite, not turning it into a RR, although he had a complete 440-6 BBl/ 4 speed set-up ready for it, he left it stock with the 318 /auto setup.

I'm not big on the steelies/Polyglas, I've bought a set of 15 x 7 and 15 x 8 Magnums (chrome 1968 version), and am looking for the best tire size that will fit nice and not be too skinny. I thought about the repro redline BFG radials, but they're only 235's, and I'd like to go wider, especially in the back, with T/A's, still undecided if i'd use the lettered side or the black one.. What do you guys think?

Welcome Ben & Bob or B&B

You can try to put a search on that Ohio plate in the picture- may lead you somewhere

As far as tire size depends on what you like. I have 295-50-15s on the back of my 70 satellite. Lots of guys run 275-60s. I had planned on using my 245-60s on the front but put all 4 on my 67 chevelle. I dont care for the 235s myself. Maybe a 255 front. I like to see a little more front tire than the traditional "drag" bigs and skinnies.

Ben,
First of all, I applaud you for buying a beautiful, stock '69 Satellite.
Second, if you want some history on your car, you will have to write a letter, with a check to Chrysler historical for the archivists to research your car.

Nice car, Ben. I like the white with blue. I owned a '69 Sport Satellite at one time - 318 car. I wish I still had it.

I found an email address for the Ohio DMV and wrote with the info I had. I doubt they will give me info on an old owner from a VIN and plate number for privacy reasons, but I hope they can forward my request to the ex owner if they can find him?
To be continued...
Ben

New info:
I found a bill from an Exxon station in North Canton , Ohio, for wheels and tires, from '82, with the name Don Christman... Anyone from around there remember seeing a white Satellite at a local car show, wearing Keystone Classic mags?
Thanks!
Ben
