Hi guys,
last winter, I added some gauges to my Satellite (318).
One was a Water temp sensor that I screwed in the waterpump housing where this "By-Pass Valve" was screwed in:
When I evaluated all the loose hoses in the engine compartment, I noticed that one of the hoses was attached to the distributor advance vacuum.
2 questions here:
- What is the exact part(name) in the image above? I can't seem to find any reference for that on Google. In the chassis manual, it's only named as By-Pass Valve.
- If I was to install this part again, where would I screw in the water temp gauge? I couldn't find another hole in the manifold.
Thanks in advance!
