I have some questions on making this install work.
1. I realize the tunnel needs a lot of attention to install either the NAG1 or the 545RFE. I am wondering if anyone has installed the NAG1 and was able to install the stock console over the refabbed hump? IF so, has anyone been able to incorporate the NAG1 shifter in the stock console.
2. Does anyone have pictures of the starter area after installation using TTI headers and the stock Torsion bar suspension?
3. I have the NAG1 transmission but am considering using the truck transmission instead if I can use the stock console and shifter. Any info appreciated

I installed a 6.4 hemi in a 70 Cuda with a 5 speed tremec. It has tti headers and I had to install a small high torque starter.

I am currently installing a 5.7/545 with TTi headers, not sure if you were looking for that or more for the nag install. I can take pictures of mine if wanted.

Until the nag1 has a doable "affordable" controller, don't use it.

The NAG1 has the starter on the passenger side while the 545 has the starter on the driver side. My question is, since the drive train is already shifted to the right, how much room is in the area of the starter and frame with the header going through the same area. Also wondering if anyone has experience with installing the stock console after altering the tunnel.

I just went out and looked at mine and a passenger side starter will not fit with those headers. I don't have a console but the tunnel gets pretty wide and looks like it will be a couple inches taller once its welded back in.

Thanks much 69_ply. Good to know before hand. Do you have any pictures of the tunnel fab and or the right side frame rail area where the Header drops down. I assume you are using the 545RFE trans.

not sure why the pictures did that, might have to roll the monitor around!

Thanks for the pictures! It sure looks like the right side starter will certainly create a problem with any kind of exhaust. What are you using for a shifter? It looks like the crossmember lines up in the right place. Just needs to drop down a few inches. Is the tail housing the stock housing from a truck 545RFE?

No shifter yet (can't make a decision), the cross member took a lot of work to fit and look fairly stock, the tail housing is a factory 2wd truck piece my trans was 4wd.
