Hello all! The wheels on my 79 300 are in rough shape, and I have never liked them much anyway. I am tossing around the idea of either staying with 15' or maybe going up to 17". Anyone know what tires and wheel sizes fit without rubbing or modifications? Thanks in advance for your help. Pictures are encouraged as well!! I'd love to see different wheels on these cars!

I have 17" X 8" Year One Rallye wheels with 255/50-17 tires on our '77 Cordoba and it has plenty of room--so much room I wish I would of maybe went wider--at least in the back.

255/60R-15 mounted on 15" x 8.5" on all four corners. Been running them since late 1983. No rubbing anywhere; ever.

I got these from Jegs but are no longer made. If I had known I would have bought 2 more sets.
Was always a fan of aluminum slots. 15x7 225/75/15 front 235/75/15 rear. Should have never sold the car.:(

They still make aluminum slotted wheels. They are my favorites also. Try Summit Racing. I just went there. It seems that American Racing stopped making them but they are still made in many sizes up tp 10" wide. The Brand is U.S. Mags "Indy" style. I searched on American racing wheels as well because Jegs does not carry as large an inventory as Summit. I actually always thought that Jegs was more of a GM (Chevy) supplier than other brands anyway. That pisses me off that American Racing stopped making them.

255/60/15 on 15x8.5 Western Wire mags (3-7/8” backspacing). These two are going on the front, and a pair of 275/60s are going on the rear.

Literally this morning, I have my Cordoba outside to go to a friends show later. Lawn maintenance kid is here and says to me, "I like your Cadillac, sir ! " I politely tell him, it's a Chrysler Cordoba.

Just a FYI, many aluminum wheels can be reconditioned to look like new.

Finished it up. 15x8.5 with 3-7/8” backspacing all around. 255/60 front, 275/60 rear. Plenty of room, but way better fill than the stock 15x6 setup.
