Lower ball joints

Found the Mancini ones, they are 1 inch dia.

tbrow the extra couple bucks in and go with qa1 dynamic rods they're a very nice piece and about 1/3 the weight of the Mancinis

I was going to shoot them with VHT High Heat ceramic black and cook then in the oven . . . but it's not a glossy finish, it's more matte - but it's ceramic . . .

QUESTION - Ghost - do you need for me to send up the metal cups too ? Or do you still have them and are they in good shape ?
Do you want / need the nuts on either or both sides ?
Let me know what parts you need so I can get them up there to you . . . Thanks.

Just to note - ( it may not matter ) - the bushing with the metal sleeve goes in last - it's on the nut side ( I put them back on as I pulled them off to remember )

I think these are toast - Mike's checking his to see if they "should" be only (2) parts - not 3 parts ( if so, I'll pitch these in the trash )

Shot a light coat of primer on them to protect them - you can shoot them with your chassis black.

You need bushings ghost? I know mike mentioned something about the ones I gave him. If you do let me know I think I have another set of moog rubber bushings and some poly ones

I have the old ones with 69,000 miles on them but I don't have anything to compare them to. We shall see. I just returned from my buddy's garage up the road where I used his big vise and impact air ratchet to remove the lower ball joint knuckles. Those things did NOT want to come loose!

Am I missing something? Those knuckles don't even look like the ones that came off of my 66. The hole for the ball joint is much larger IF it will even come out plus the pin for the stop is right next to where the ball joint is located. Did your knuckles come off of a newer car?

Yep, your missing that those knuckles came off of a 1976 Dodge Aspen. update...now that I look at them, your right. They curve up instead of down and the nub for the stop is out on the arm. NOT a 76 Aspen. Soooo I wonder what they are? Anyone....anyone......Beuller......Bueller......anyone.......

OKAY!!!...I finally got my brain to put 2 and 2 together and get 4. The 67 Coronet lower ball joint arms are the same bolt size and bolt spacing as the 76 Plymouth Volare/ Aspen arms but are shaped differently. SOOOO...I need to get two 67 Coronet lowers and bolt them to the 76 knuckles so they will mate to my 67 LCA's. Wheewwww!!!!! Brain cells are overheated....and i'm a little slow.

I have a set of those knuckles and I think I got them off a 76ish Coronet. I only have them because I was acquiring the 11 3/4" disc brakes for my Coronet. I'm not 100% sure, but I think with those the ball joint is attached to the lower control arm instead of the knuckle like our cars.

The 76 knuckles with the ball joint arm have the ball joint on top with the arm going down and away on both ends, opposite from ours. I see that the 67 Coronet ball joint arms have the exact same spacing and size on the mounting holes and the 76 knuckle has a depression in the rear face so the ball joint body wont rub. So I just need the 67 lower ball joints. Bolts right up. I have one, still mounted to the drum spindle but tossed the other one cuz I cant find it. Dang...
