We even had a local pre-cursor show called "Marshall's Metal Shop" in the very early 1980's.

Hosted by Dayton OH WTUE DJ Marshall Phillips (RIP).

It got supplanted by the national one in the OP, hosted by Charlie Kendall circa 1983-ish.
