M/T ET streets bias ply

I guess those 16.5s do fit but they sure don't have much margin do they? I guess in looking at mine again if the inner lip was removed I could probably fit the 16.5s too but man it looks tight.

Wd-40

how is the wd on the paint?:

I use to use WD-40 on my race cars paint all the time, never any issues, not sure I would use it on a show quality paint job though, before every pass we spayed rags with WD-40 & would wipe the whole car down nothing would stick{except dust}, even when we went to vinyl wraps, it worked great....

You can't pass a pinkey finger between the tire & the wheel lip:icon_lol:
My wheel lip was removed, you hit that one!!

Then I heard if you spray your rear quarter with pam, next removal is easier yet.

Works great I have used that always but in white cars it yellows the paint if your applying it a lot... Blue tape works great to i used it on my Coronet all the time....

I used a product called Slime on the previous race car quarters. Its a clear stripable coating designed to eliminate masking time for body shops. Just spray it on with your HVLP and let it dry, it'll usually last a few times out to the track. Then you peel it right off like your skin does after a nasty sunburn. Wont hurt the paint either. You can find it at any automotive paint store, especially a Sherwin-Williams Automotive store.
