When you make up things (AKA a lie) especially one that says DON'T buy from Lokar at $166 or Jegs for $110 just buy from Amazon at $16 it's the same stuff just repackaged when in FACT it's NOT. That was a LIE and financially damaging to Lokar and Jegs. The IRONY is he accused them publicly of lying to customers when in fact he was the one LYING!!! This wasn't a personal conversation it was a video made up of lies that damaged a company's reputation and has cost them customers THROUGH THIS LIE.

So right now, I am debating because I have a lack of knowledge if I am arguing with a liar or someone without a clue, because I have yet to be shown any basis on Tony's part he had an intention to lie. You obviously cannot or will not take that into account. All your other points are superfluous as to whether Tony was intentional in his alleged lying and why I am ignoring getting into those weeds, yet I am sitting wondering, how many times do I need to repeat myself here. Damaging my butt, only an idiot would take his video diatribe hook line and sinker, I think.

I like Uncle Tony (rare around here) and don't mind his rambling delivery either (very rare around here), but when I was watching the original video I thought "what the hell is he on about, he not comparing apples with apples". How he could have jumped to the conclusions he did and called them out publicly without ordering the actual parts from both Lokar and Jegs defied belief. He's well aware of the all the Chinese knock off carbs etc, he's had them on his show, so how could he think this was something different? His accusation is the equivalent of buying a Holley or Edelbrock carb from Holley or Edelbrock and them shipping you a Chinese knock-off.

I also watched his half-assed apology where he was looking down at the floor a bit mumbling sorry and then trying to defend his position.

I think he was way out of line, but maybe he just had a dumb moment. Surely he wasn't intending to deceive? In any case if I was Lokar or Jegs I'd want a better apology.

Nope. He flat out didn't have a topic ("content") for his regular upload scheduled episode coming up - so like I said,
he manufactured drama.
He's done it plenty of times before and doesn't have a problem with it, preferring to adhere to the "bad publicity is better than
no publicity" school of thought on the subject. He's actually admitted to the same on his channel, more than once....
which is a damn shame, given his vast experience he could be sharing with the hobby.

Sorry Tony, but unless you verified with Lokar where theirs is made, it's premature to make that accusation against them (that theirs isn't made in the USA) - or Jegs, for that matter. Verify such things before accusing, please....It's much more likely that the original could have been developed and made by Lokar in the USA originally and the Chinese make a knock-off of them now.

No, I said in the video that Lokar did not make a claim as to where these parts were manufactured, but Jegs did, and I showed the screen from their own page.

Nope, we don't work on the "guilty until proven innocent" concept in this country, so I gave my contact at Lokar the heads
up and they went back at Tony, as I knew they would (and should).

It was all just a bullshit way to come up with "content" for his YT channel to keep its' status (and revenue stream, therefore)
chugging along - and my guess is he's gonna wind up reaping more negative out of it than positive.
