I have been following this story for a while.

The car was returned to the owner stripped.
The guy who had the car stripped it prior to the police serving a warrant.
There are witnesses to the car being complete 2 months ago!
Guy is playing everyone as a fool.Sending some parts back to police and drawing out this episode .Cant believe the guy is not locked up.There have been protests at his baseball group (he is the commissioner of)

THIS IS AS GOOD OF A TIME LINE AS I COULD DO AT THIS POINT IN TIME DUE TO PENDING LEGAL ACTIONS. THANK YOU.

2001 mr white discovers cuda stolen from his garage , door kicked open.
6 - 2014 gets certified letter stating cuda at tow yard 2000,00$ lien, tries to recover from tow yard, tow yard states mr sitton payed bill and picked up cuda. mr white contacts police and try to get his car back. mr sitton claims car is his and wont release to rightful owner.
one week passes, still no car, contact portland police , they say might be civil matter. cannot retrieve car DA will not issue warrant to search.
2nd week passes, still no cuda. sitton claims ownership and wont release car.
3rd week , katu contacts mr white asking to do the story on the cuda and why the police are not helping to retrieve the car yet.
4th week. contact county sheriff asking their help as portland is not moving and wont get his car back. in the meantime we discover car is in same condition as when stolen. as seen by numerous people.
5th week portland still investigating, still no cuda.
6th week sheriff contacts mr white stating they recovered his cuda. he went to see the cuda. this is what he seen. and for the last 3 weeks he has gotten parts returned a little at a time.
still missing 5 to 10 k in parts - 6 Pak still missing, fender tag missing Dash missing, vin missing, shaker missing, radiator missing, grille missing, bucket of bolts and fasteners missing. factory fog lamps missing, still need to inventory parts,.....
the worst part of this nightmare is the witnesses that state seeing the car after the police were investigating complete driving condition.

Where I come from we call these guys a POS. I would think you all would take them out somewhere in the Outback and make steaks out of him.......

This is getting better...posted on FB
QUOTE
and the truth about the lien title comes out, shitton was at barrett-jackson in jan. trying to hand sell the cuda to collectors he knew. no title no sale. the paint on the car shows it had been detailed to sell ( look at the shine ) and a title would have let him send it to b-j. too bad he didn't, they run EVERY vin and have no problem getting the sheriff to come get car that are stolen. they would have contacted mr. white and then just waited for the car. wouldn't be the 1st car they got that was stolen and they know how to deal with it. mr. white would have got his beloved car back intact for a small shipping charge. so sad

The titled owner Mr White is 75 years old...who would do this??

Update
This is Lee Sitton from Gresham Orgeon. (Asshole)

And they wonder why there is so much violence in america. When the law is not enforced people usually take matters in their own hands. I am appalled by the lack of action by the portland police. Why cant people start using common since again? Is that such a lost art? Damn shame

I've been following this on yellowbullet.com for the last couple weeks. What a shame. Hope that SOB Sitton winds up with a long stay at the big house.

Where I come from he's dead before the next full moon.

What the F is going on there???? This guy is in possession of stolen property. What i don't get is this. If say the insurance company paid a claim (and hopefully he had insurance) the car now belongs to the insurance company not this thief who has it in his garage. So if its known were it is why aint the sheriff there with a flatbed
