I bought the PST Super OE front end kit and will be replacing myself. I have a Ball joint socket already and I know I need a torsion bar removal tool... Do I really need a Ball joint stud remover? seems like it could be hammered out?

Also, not included in kit... Upper control arm sleeve remover. It looks like this is only needed if re-sleeving (not even sure if I have sleeves on the vehicle) If just replacing bushings, I assume it is not needed?

Any help is appreciated...just not looking to spend extra money on tools I'm not likely to use more than a few times.

If you are replacing all of the bushings you can remove the rear clip for the torsion bar, losen the torsion bar adjuster all the way. Remove the spindle, remove the lower ball joint, remove the nuts on the strut rod, and the nut holding on the lower control arm pivot pin. Then use a mallet on the lower control arm to drive it and the torsion bar back. Once the torsion bar clears the cross member, it will easily (should) slide out of the lower control arm. No special tool needed and no chance of messing up the torsion bar if you plan to reuse it.

I just rented all my tools from my local Advance Auto Parts. For t-bar removal made me tool for a couple of dollars. Oh yeah and bought a press needed one anyways.
