Im going through a couple of old wiring harnesses i have aquired over the years to piece together my map light n console wiring. I bought a new m&h harness from yearone and all it has is two yellow wires which im guessin go to the door jambs.. The map light harness i found had a spade jumper goin to the fuse box with two really long pink wires. Where do these wires go?. On the other harness that i have there was spliced into the yellow wire for the door jamb a roughly 4 foot long pink n yellow wire together with a 'T' connecter on the end. Where does that go?? And lastly can i use an automatic console wiring harness in my 4 speed car. The new ones are way too pricey. Thanks guys

Pink is power, yellow if the ground. The door switched and glove box switch close the circuit and turn the light on

Where does the yellow wire attach and the two pinks coming off the jumper go. One of the pink wires is 3 feet long and got a spade connector on the end and the other pink has been cut and im not sure where it goes. Thanks

I think one pink goes to the glovebox switch and the yellow i splice into the yellow door switch on my new harness. Not sure where the last pink wire goes because the wire jumper was connected to a spade connector in the fuse box. Does anything go to the center console lights?. Thanks

I eliminated the glovebox door pink wire and the trunk light pink wire and im gonna tie the two remaining pink wires that were connected together from the map light to a spade connector and plug them into my fusebox.. Gonna tie the yellow wire from the maplight to the passenger side door pin connector and plug them into the yellow wire on my new harness. Thanks guys
