map light wiring

this is a pic of map light wiring hanging down from switch,i understand the red light connects to fuse box,but what connects into the yellow wire? thanksView attachment 313784

i'm pretty sure the door jamb wiring plugs into the yellow.

I believe 69roadr is correct. The jam switch wires on my 64 are also yellow and connect to the under dash (map) light.
