I'm going to pick it up and give this E85 thing a try. I figured I would be better off buying a complete unit from a reputable builder than trying to do it myself with a kit.
The current owner is switching to EFI so I'm getting a pretty nice carb.

The one thing is don't let it set full of E85 without being run once every couple weeks. It will gum up. We run ours on gas before parking it for the winter. Carb gets disassembled and cleaned every season.

Sounds like a good plan. I will probably put my gas carb on for the winters as I need to move my car sometimes to make room for other projects in the shop.
