Mine arrived today as well. The Quarter Mile of Muscle Cars will be on S 3rd St and Bridger. That is right along side the concert Venue. If that street is packed with drunks and careless people, which I expect it will be, I am not bringing my Charger.

Well just a heads up to everyone I15 is a complete confusing nightmare with the free way construction from flamingo to what use to be the spaghetti bowl so with you guys gpsing things it wont be right because of all the detours i was just on it last night taking the wife to the airport and had no damn idea where to go and ive lived here 45 years lol anyway give yourself some extra time or take a compleat different rout

You'll be fine as long as you take 515 and stay away from 15. It takes you around the east side right to downtown, just get there before 3-4 pm if you can.

There is no such thing as a ridiculously late hour in the city that never sleeps! You can just slog on up LV Blvd all the way to downtown and stay awake by the blinding lights and traffic on the strip, probably no worse than taking 15 North......it's not that far either way.
If you prefer a more zen like experience, depending on your car rental location, you can take Paradise north to East on Tropicana to North on Maryland Parkway to West on Ogden and you're there. Or if you find yourself exiting onto Russell road just go East to Maryland Parkway then as above.
Just remember, everyone in Vegas is in a hurry and wants to go faster than you, even if you are going 90 mph!

Arrived. 96 degrees today. 95 a parking lot. Gear up, plan, watch Drive times etc.

Finally got a room at the Cannery. Now that they are no longer the Host Hotel. Wed nite. Casino deserted. Desk says they are "under Boyde Gaming now." New owner I guess. It's almost 100 degrees here and the Craig ramp southbound 93/15 is one lane but open. Construction barrels everywhere.
