I'm having my springs moved on my 65 Coronet and was wondering what the best wheel tire combo would be without doing a mini tub. Thanks.

Based on other posts i think 295 50 on a 10 inch rim but how muck backspacing? I'm thinking 6??

The height of the tire will also come into play. I have 15" diameter x 10" wide x 4.5" backspaced wheels on my 65 Coronet and when I get around to relocating my springs inward I plan on running a 28" or 29" tall tire with 12" tread width and keep the 4.5" backspacing. On my set up I am installing an aftermarket Dana rearend so I can make the backspacing work, if you leave your stock width rearend then I would suggest you measure the space and calculate your backspacing from that. Should look great....good luck.

polarawheels.jpgI have some 17x10.5 and 17x8's for sale if you are interested. They fit in a mini tubbed 65 with spring relocation.
