All done and ready to go with the correct center. The originals on the Max Wedge had all the “extra” holes. Which are really not extra holes, the ones you see most frequently on these cars today have less holes which is not really correct if your are trying to replicate the original 14” wheels. In 15” of course.
I didn’t know that about the holes. I thought originals only had the one hole like in the picture I attached. Good to know!

Nice! rare set you have there. Are they #2122468? Those are exactly what I was trying to replicate only in 15" as I already have the cheater slicks. This is for a 65 Belvedere 1. Some lite reading in the pictures attached. Note all the extra holes same as in the 14 x 6.5 wedge optional wheels. Any buddy have a pic of the 14x5.5K steelies that were standard on the wedge cars? Part #2084628 according to Jim Schilds book. However another reliable source says this wheel and part number was discontinued in 1961 and replace by #2988523! Who knows! LOL. So in other words its your car put on what you like! Always works out in the long run.
Additional research shows that on the 1962 8 cylinders 2084628 was used. Checking 63 now. Looks like standard in 1963 was 2298523, 2084628 from 62 not shown in parts book.
I am under the impression they did. According to the info I posted above they did if you got either the optional 14 x 6.5 or the optional 15 x 6. I would assume all centers were the same and therefore the standard wheel would have them too?
Yes sir. I was referring to the fact that both the 14" and 15" had the extra holes as shown in the postings above. In my humble opinion your centers are "correct" in design as to the originals for the specific vehicles above. Good job!
Here's some very early photos if you zoom in you will see the double hole pattern. also every original 63-64 dodge & ply max wedge & hemi owners manual I have call for the optional 14x6.5 K wheel including the elusive parts poster that has a break down of every part & it's part number for a MW car. for what it's worth don't take everything that you read in Jim schild's or Pete haldimans book as the gospel some of the BS in there is just expensive toilet reading you are better off researching a factory parts manual or finding some original documents.
No 468 PN & honestly I have never seen a set of wheels with that PN on them anywhere not saying they don't exist. I guess if we wanted to be technical the black wheels in the picture are probably for a 62 car judging by the sticker & with the date code of L2 & the grey wheel which is identical expect for the stampings are in a different spot & it is used but has a date code H3 are probably for a 63 or maybe even a 64 car.
