Just posted a video about the 63 Sport Fury Max Wedge convertible I found last August. Had lots of questions about the car so I think the video will answer some of them. Search YouTube: Max Wedge Barn Find

Well Jim.....it just goes to prove....they are STILL out there. That is an amazing find!! You're going to have a ton of fun with that.

Very nice, Jim - thanks!

Alo 00001.jpg0001.jpg62.jpg01.jpgha, I am so Jealous , I wish , I love my 63. but its not a Max wedge. Have fun, cant wait to see it done. Mahalo from Hawaii

Nice find Jim ...hope to see & hear more in the future.

Strange that the hood bracing has not been removed? Is it a non original hood?

Awesome Video, but side question How much are those Max Wedge Manifolds worth?

I'll ditto the amazing find, Jim! Wow!

Never thought any maxwedge ragtop cars were made. Sure sets me straight.

Should be a blast to get her up again.

Solid Cali car...

have fun with her...

The car was built Oct. 30, 1962. I found a 426 Max Wedge block casted in Aug. of 62 and assembled on Sept. 19, 1962. Perfect date codes for the car.
The Max Wedge manifolds are pricy, but can be found on eBay as well as this site.
The hood needs some detective work. The under hood bracing is normally cut out for air cleaner clearance. Was the hood changer or was this step missed at the factory?
