What is a set of real ones worth, since now they have repo's and they cost $1000.

Not as much as they used to be! The repops are identical to the originals! So they are worth what ever the buyer is willing to pay. Unless you can verify that they are the real deal!

I've had them since the mid 70's

I'm done playing with them
Had them on a 68 Satellite and then on our 73 car hauler, have since took them off to convert the car hauler to Cummins/ 5-speed
