Can anyone provide any NAPA, Goodyear, Advance, Auto Zone, etc part numbers for Heater Hose with the short 90 degree bend that will work for a Max Wedge car? I don't need the whole kit with brackets, nipples, straps etc like some vendors are selling for up to $200!! Thanks for any leads! Please email: d-----------------------m

Heater Hose

Thanks Max 62, But the actual Max Wedge hoses are probably close to twice that length. They connect at the firewall, run past master cylinder to drivers inner fender, lay on top of the fender to about the battery, then turn to cross over the Alternator area to reconnect to the outlet nipples at water pump. Anyone else have any tips or ideas? Maybe a friend with a Max Wedge setup (62-65) you could ask for advice? Thanks

I can't remember where I got mine but they are actually longer than the Max Wedge hose.I added A/C and the heater outlets are at least 10" farther toward the passenger side of the firewall than the heater hose location without A/C. If I can figure out where I got them I'll get back to you, also I have a complete set of the hose brackets for the fender you can have if you need them, just pay shipping.
Good Luck.

Several years ago when I had a Max Wedge, I had trouble finding those hoses. In the meantime, our local parts store let me look over their inventory of hoses. I found a couple of short 90 degree hoses that were 5/8" diameter. I bought them and a couple of hose connectors, and hooked them to regular heater hose, which I correctly routed to the water pump. They looked OK until I found the correct hoses on ebay a year later.

NAPA stocks the hoses in various lengths with a 90 degree bend on one end. I think up to six feet. That's where I got mine. Six feet will be plenty.
