I had this swinging pickup with a several times lengthened, heated and bent tube, that had the final indignity of being reduced to a 3/8" pipe thread.
At long last I decided to remove the butchered tube.
The factory turned down a DOM tube to fit the pivot, bent the tube and threaded the end. It was brazed or silver soldered to the pivot. A creative person can do this too.
