I just figured out the car has the original exhaust on it that’s kinda nuts but with 57000 miles I guess it should.

I got some new front runners and painted a pair of 1965 rims 14x5 , tires are NOS from 1974 and they are nice been in cool dry storage side walls are soft. The backs are next !

I’m thinking about using these for the back I only have two keystones the tires are H70 -15 wide 70 they are fat!

Tires look nice but running 46-year-old tires no matter how they've been stores is just asking for trouble. I'd hate to see all the work you've done be destroyed by a blown tire.

I got the new skins on Mean Green and backed it out for a pic . The net step is a new duel master cylinder and then it the ShotGun Hurst converter and 4.10 gears for the street fighter!!!!!

I thinking about putting headers with purple Hornies on they make some that bolt to the 3”collectors and have a short down pipe . I am also looking for a Deep Purple Machine head cassette to blast when cruising and pounding on Chevy punks.

Sweet car, I like the direction you are going with it.

You may want to rethink the Purple Hornies idea. I did that on my Road Runner for about a month. It wasn't what I remember from 40 years ago. It was cool until you got in and drove it very far. 3" to the back bumper still sounds great without the headache from the noise and exhaust fumes.

Got it ,this is not going to be long haul car I have other cars for that no going for ice cream and taking the old lady to the mall , this is a man’s ride Loud and smelly .

I have been working on the engine cleaning it up I changed the valve cover gaskets and rad hoses .
