Back in the shop time for a new gas tank oh the fun never stops.

Well the fuel system is all new the carb has been gone threw and everything is back together for now but Waite let’s change the rear center section ,the factory 323 posi is fine but lacks the punch that is needed so let’s try a 4.10 ..

I don’t mean to brag or anything but my car has date coded door panels !! Cars build date is 6-13

Gear change is under way and getting it ready for for the pure stock drags this weekend last minute thrashing I have two days…..

It’s in !!The traction bars are off along with the keystones can’t run them at the pure stocks race so I’m running these F70 Firestones the rules say stock tires up to G70 is the biggest tire you can run with stock wheels so I have to paint these rims.

So we made it to the race the engine is tired and it’s time for a rebuild but the best time was a 15.44 at 89 mile per hour and a 2.01 60 foot not great but ,on a f70 15 bias original exhaust. It would launch hard but lots of tire spin so that’s no good , I did have fun and got a lot of people that just loved the car and met a few B body members as well that was cool !My grandkids came Saturday and helped I was so happy that they could be a part of it .

There are so changes coming this winter for the time machine I order some new tires today plus a few other things……. But for now look at these
