I was a amazed how much junk there is at Mecum....the lights help to give the cars flash.....
we lost our *** trying to peddle this one..BTW; over $90,000.00 into it....

There is junk at all auctions, if seriously thinking of buying you need to look close, get underneath, and start it up - even then watch out. Unfortunately most of the Mecum crowd could care less about prewar cars unless they are hot rods.

Tx Don, they Mecum, bill themselves as " Mecum Collector and Classic Car auctions"...not just an auto-auction.....

....all we needed were 2 people that wanted that concours roadster.....Unfortunately we lost on that one.

....we as a family own, bought and sold many cars.....& thank you for your insite! if we are buying we bring objective people with us.... as others here know that we have dealt with here ...(we have bought car or 2 here)& they were every thing we thought they would be.
... lot of intelligent, smart, & sharp, people here.

Drooling over that Roadrunner convertible.

Tim Wellborn brought it, and it IS "drool-worthy"...here is a picture of it at his home, taken when I brought my Lemon Twist 70 V code Roadrunner to the 1st annual "Mopars at the Museum" last year, (and a pic of my car at his home, just because-lol)

24 hrs away from departure to Kissimmee! So much to do today before we leave...I will be at the auction site Wed/Thur/Fri...probably have to leave Saturday unless the wife can get one more day off work.

A local Body Shop owner here, I know, has taken 68 Shelby 500KR to sell there. It is that light lime/green color. I know he has a reserve on it. It is slated to sell near the end of Sat. I think the lot number is S260. This guy has a hard time telling the truth around here..So... If someone sees it sell, Please advise me as to the price, as I will not be around. Be on a flight to Viet Nam.
