Mecum Wellborn; Florida Jan 16-26.

went to 1 of their auctions in INDY and they are very cool. The only thing I don't like about it is that people don't know how to treat the cars and they lean on them, kids are hanging on the doors trying to see inside, finger prints all over the cars. Other than that cool cars everywhere and there is something for everyone

I'm going a couple of days to nose around

That will be a sweet auction to attend.
Pam and Tim's cars are some of the lowest mileage and rare cars.
Some of them were owned by Otis Chandler (Used to own the LA Times)

I will be attending a conference in Orlando 15th thru 22nd and plan on taking a day off to see the cars. Sounds like there will be a lot of good ones to see.

Omg, what a great collection all at one location. The big question, why go and not register. It's all over the board with Mopars on every day, what a tease.

NY area I going to try to get it back. it sells on Fri. 16 lot j 130. the white ash wood floor is now black. and scratches in the gold leaf. it's like getting stabbed in the heart seeing like this. i'll be a phone bidder. :hatwave:Fortunate to have the mecum auction in my backyard every year here in the Chicago area. Always enjoy seeing the variety of vehicles. Will be making the trip to Florida for this auction. Can't help but have a blast, especially to get out of the -35 wind chills here in Chicago. If you go, do some checking on the entrance fees. They usually give you a significant discount if you agree to subscribe to there monthly magazine.

Some Mopars are in the "S" lot for Saturday. Can they be viewed on weekdays prior?

I'll be watching from my armchair...

I saw this car when I was there. I just can't remember where on the grounds it was. It might have been in the building with the museum cars, but not roped off.
