Hi guys and gals,

I'm wondering who is heading to the Chrysler Nationals at Carlisle this week. I will be there Friday and Saturday, maybe Sunday some too.

I will have my 70 Road Runner displayed in the "fun field".

Please stop by and say hi! If I am not there, leave me a message and I'll call you or meet up later.

What is "the fun field"?
The fun field is a non-judged set of cars that park on the grounds. They are organized by type of car and year, so B bodies are grouped together and then further so are 70 Road Runners. If you get a map when you enter the grounds it will clearly show the location of where the cars are parked.

More simply, if you go to Carlisle, look for a ****-load of 70 Road Runners and I'll be there!

I never knew there were judged and non judged areas. Now I want to be in the fun field. Thanks for the info.

Don't forget the suntan lotion, umbrella, bug spray and mud boots. Something to treat the poison ivy too. And Beer. Take lots of pictures if the humidity doesn't fog up the lense. Look for a couple of those vent-pull under dash mounts for a 69 that me and another guy here are looking for. Have fun too, and safe travel.

They keep increasing the forecasted temperature. Looks like it's going to be HOT and HUMID.

I'll be there Thur, Fri and Sat with the '57.

Beers aplenty while waiting for the inevitable thunder storm - all invited to partake . :D

Obviously YOU have never been to Carlisle....THERE IS VERY LITTLE MUD NO BUGS AND NO POISION IVY.
DON'T DOWN SOMETHING YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT. BEST DAMN MOPAR SHOW IN THE WORLD.

Do you mean the left hand side vent assembly that attaches to the underside of the cowl with a pull cable that says "Vent" on it? If so, is a 69 or 70 any different?

Yes, but disregard. FBBO HALIFAX have them on the way. I have been to Carlisle several times.
