Meet At Carlisle 2016?

Think I'll be skipping out this year but would love to see your bird all finished up. I was very impressed with it last year, top notch work.

I just got back from Carlilsle and saw khryslerkid who was definitely not lugging all that stuff when I ran into him and saw Hawks car (completed this time) but no Hawk  And yes, it was friggin' hot.

Had a blast at Carlisle this yr seen a lot of cars I hadn't seen before. Heading back in the morning looking forward to next year.

Yea, I was parked close to gate #1 and hauled it out a piece at a time. I paid for the temp tag so I could drive my truck in to pick up the rear housing that I bought from member 3white74. Great member to make a deal with! We made the transaction on here awhile back, and he was gracious enough to bring it to the show for me.

Also a shout out to ws27 for doing the same with the pair of tires. Great member to deal with also!

It was cool meeting up with you, couldn't miss you with that big finned calling card!

I also met up with FU64RY, 68chicken, snakeoil, RC, and even Steve from staten island who made the trip. All upstanding guys!

Here's Fridays haul

The 8"x15" 4.5bs on the left, we're behind the grandstand, a guy makes them up himself, were $130 a pair. (Hope they run true) The 7" were factory 1969 dated 15" rims I found, $90 for the pair.

I am sorry I missed you! I was out doing some shopping off and on as well!!! No great scores this year, but then again, I don't need lots of stuff.

I did meet a few FBBO folks, including a couple who "lurk" on the site but haven't signed up - please join the club! Either way, thanks for stopping by and checking out the car and/or saying hi. I had a great time and met lots of cool people.

And yes, it was brutally hot, especially at night laying in a hot tent with no cross breeze.

Hawk
