That is a serious looking ride there. Do dish on your source. I'm curious, I set up a 70 Barracuda with the same set up and had no issues. But, i'm curious to what you know.

ALTERKTION front end with full hotchkis rear suspension. 3;55 sure grip. with 4 wheel wilwoods. 18x8.5 front and 18x9 rears. car is dropped 2 2.5 inches. the SCOWL is a top end beast on the interstate.

You may say "not much to look at" but it's still one of my favorite builds on here just because I know exactly what your going to do with it (drive it like you stole it) and it looks mean as hell.

is what all?

I didn't get a chance to finish.I was rallying the troops to post up as they have and this tread is just warming up.
The cars posted so far are incredibly sweet,,,and I'm old school.Don't care for the 3rd gen hemis in the old muscle cars,,,but just my opinion which don't mean **** on your build.Look at the interiors, the body and paint work effin FABULOUS!!

Canon Camera 080.jpg Me with my tired ride. Been Coast to Coast. Still some tire smoke left. Plan to drive and enjoy til it stops. Oops, that's not me. Pic near the Saltan Sea.

Ahhhh I missed that evil bastard!! x3 on what dev and goon said, easily one of my favorite cars on here and there's been more than one occasion I've shown your car to friends when we get talking about modern engine swaps. That driveline sticker is classic hahaha

That's one sharp ride Dennis, it's great that you get allot of use out of it instead of being a car show stowaway. Nice!

Sweet! The Nats are just a little East of Columbus so anywhere near Columbus would put you close. I'll do some looking and see if there's a place really close but I'm about 2 hrs in the opposite direction. If your driving the Evil Scowl we'll have to coordinate so we can park together, I prefer to enter my car in the non-judged show rather than leave it in the parking lot.

Just did a little looking around and if you go to the Nationals website they have a link for hotels. Let me know if you need anything.

Post yours up Hemi-ITIS, I'm sure allot of people here,
would like to hear & read about it here...

post up build details, photos & videos,
even if it's a Blown Hemi drag/street car,
it would be nice to see it here, it fits our genera,
hell you "actually" drive it too...
My junk does not come close to these builds. It's an old school pro street that cant turn.My next car,if I live that long would be a "B" or "C" body, maybe a more door with 18's and air bags.Decent power & A/C a must!!!

I have to disagree HEMI-ITIS, your car is pretty darn sweet and my next build will likely be pro street.

Most all of you have followed along with the trials and tribulations of my cars, but I'm game for sharing again. First up is the Charger resurrection: 69 R/T,Hemi 4-speed, Dana 3.54, quad black, 440 10:1 compression; Comp 274 solid cam; Edelbrock RPM intake; Stealth heads; Holley 770 Street Avenger; TTi 1 7/8 ceramic headers; TTi 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust w/Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers; 6 qt Hemi pan; McLeod Borg & Beck style clutch. This all equates to 489hp & 542ft.lbs. Even after having this car put together for a year now, it still amazes me the attention it draws.
IMG_0541.jpgIMG_0542.jpgIMG_0536.jpgIMG_0539.jpg

After driving this car around last year, my Road Runner just wasn't much fun anymore. Needed a little get up and go, so I pulled out the #'s matching motor, tranny, bell housing, driveshaft, and center section of the rear end and stashed it all in a corner of my garage. Found a 400 block and had a 451 put together. Bored .040; Stealth heads; 440 Source stroker kit; 10:1 compression; Comp 282 solid cam; Edelbrock RPM intake; Holley 770 Street Avenger; 6 qt Hemi pan; TTi 1 7/8 ceramic headers; TTi 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust with Ultraflows. had another 23 spline tranny gone through, 1350 Strange driveshaft, clutch style suregrip with new 3.55 ring & pinion. McLeod Borg & Beck style clutch. This setup dyno'd 522hp and 561 ft. lbs. I weighed each car with the Charger going 3900 lbs. and the Road Runner at 3650 lbs. This car has only 30 more horse and weighs 250 lbs. less, but what a beast. Almost spooky fast for a street car. It would be interesting to see what it would do at the strip with some tires that would hookup.

I built this for a friend. Its a real R/T and an original FC-7 Plum Crazy car. Originally started out life with a 383 HP and console shifted 727, 8.75 rear and 4 wheel drum brakes.

- - - Updated - - -

It still sports its original dash pad and vinyl top.

- - - Updated - - -

It now has a Herb McCandless built Stroker 440 that is 500 cubic inches. It has a Liberty Gear 6 speed manual transmission, and a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears. Willwood disc brakes on all 4 corners.

- - - Updated - - -

Complete TTI 3 inch exhaust system with factory style tips (not shown in these photos) and ceramic coated headers for the INDY heads. It has a Barry Grant Holley carb, and MSD ignition.

- - - Updated - - -

Dual disc Center Force clutch, LONG style shifter that we had to adapt for an E body by machining a mounting bracket out of 1/2" aircraft aluminum. Then we took a factory stock pistol grip and machined it down to fit the LONG shifter.

- - - Updated - - -

Old school Pioneer sound system, Classic Auto Air R134 A/C system, March serpentine belt conversion, "Be Cool" aluminum radiator.

17 inch Torque Thrusters up front and 18's in the back, and on and on.

I personally don't care for the front AAR / TA style air dam up front, but it's his car.

It has an original T/A fiberglass hood on it, and you can see how it's bowed on the passenger side.

- - - Updated - - -

This car turns heads where ever it goes. It's a torque monster and it has a "Ground Pounder" quad shock rear leaf spring set up. Even with this, it shreds the tires ...................... ;) !!!!
