Mid-rise scissor lift

The initial post was looking for thoughts and opinions. Now its turned to facts. All the specs will be on the website for virtually any lift device made. All you have to do is look. I'm not about to don my winter clothing to trek out to my shop and root through my manuals because you're to lazy to use Google!
So, why would you don winter clothing to trek out to your shop if it isn't cold like you mentioned in post #16? Anyways, yeah, I've been here for a long time and seen it plenty of times but instead of becoming pissed off about it, just ignore it and move on. I've seen too many of your replies that are similar to what I saw here today so you have no room to bitch about anything.

I purchased a Quick Jack . It’s nice and puts the car where it’s just right for working on it while sitting on a shop stool.

I consider a Quick Jack but saw the max lift was 24 inches. I’m wanting to remove the transmission eventually and wanted more room under the vehicle.

I have the 6000lbs scissor lift from harbor freight. I don't usually use for lifting cars (except for tire rotating) as I have other 9000/12000 lbs lifts.
It has been a good unit for several years. My power unit did have a valve leaking and the replacement parts are $300 so I bought a complete power unit from Amazon for $200.
The power unit has a hook on it to catch on the hoist making it easier to move the lift around. I put a wood top on it and use it primarily as a worktable to build transmissions and to unload heavy items off of
trucks/ trailers. I also use it when dropping the K member/motor/trans out of cars that are on my on my regular hoists. The top I made has a hinged ramp on it to be able to drive my mowers on it for servicing.
I found many uses for it other than lifting cars.
