Has anyone else signed up already? My packet (wristbands etc.) never arrived. I messaged the promoter. He said it was shipped 2/24. I gave it another a week. Still nothing arrived. Emailed him again. Has not responded. That was 8 days ago.

I went on the site and got swap spots. Haven't seen anything yet but the receipt they emailed.

Keep me updated. I have sent 3 emails inquiring as to the status of my package. Only one was replied to simply telling me the ship date, my reply to that was ignored. The only reason I am very concerned is how stern they are on FB about not replacing "lost or stolen wristbands etc." Guy, it was not lost or stolen, it never arrived. If I don't see it next week I am calling my bank and doing a chargeback. Seriously awful customer service. Would be a shame for them to lose my fee and the 4-5 friends/family that come with us every year due to being too lazy to respond to an email from a person who already sent you their money.

I hope to see you all there.

Even though Stillwater is closer for me, I am really glad it is back in Farmington.

Our A body crew last year. Does the B body group have a get together?

Thank you. I guess I will have to proceed with the chargeback and unfortunately will not be attending. This would have been my first year behind the rope, so to speak. Not sure why this Wade fella who is apparently running things has chosen to behave this way. If I pay for something I expect to receive it. Pretty simple if you ask me.

I register at the gate because the weather can be so unpredictable…
Wise move. Think I'll copy that strategy for future shows. I just wanted to get everything set and save a few bucks on early registration. But I'm so thoroughly aggravated by hassle of dealing with this guy I will no longer be attending.

A lot of these people are complete volunteers. We have been to a few shows throughout the years. Yes there were a few glitches, but meeting people outweighed all of the problems.
It is supposedly a gathering of like minded people.
Our club show is put on by the club. We are a nonprofit club. We donate funds to things like Ronald McDonald’s House which has accommodated for families that have children who are in the hospital for Cancer treatments.
I like to think patience is a virtue.
I have no idea what the difference is in the costs, but we have gone to car shows in the US when our $ was 1.05 Canadian and when it was .62 Canadian.

This is a reasonable and measured response that I do not disagree with. What I do disagree with is when I emailed that my package had not arrived a month after they announced on FB that packages were going out the reply was simply the date it was sent. Nothing more. Just "Your package was sent on date." Mind you it's been a month at this point. I am local. It should have arrived in 2-3 days. It's lost. Simple as. Initially I had some difficulty getting packages at the new address but that had long since ended, although I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt on that. The neighbors are a sheriff and a young family. Nobody stole it. So I gave it another 10 days an tried again, was ignored, I waited longer, tried again, was ignored. I was ignored three times. I did not receive any response until I finally emailed that it would be my final attempt and threatened to call my bank. They, rather than handle it CORRECTLY, which is simply to accept the package they sent had been lost and it was not my fault in any way, and their own negligence of not getting tracking numbers puts the onus of them, they give me some bullshit about their policy being the result of people giving the wristbands to friends and being a thief. And rather than wait for me to respond to that email, which is how I wanted this handled and would have shortly, the guy blew up my phone all day long on a Sunday. That was the end of it for me, man. Done and done. Every step of this was handled incorrectly by the show people. Guy should have simply said, "We will ship you another package with a tracking number." That's it. End of story. Not this insulting run around over a measly $45.

I owned and ran a direct to market T-shirt business for years and when I was young I chose to cut corners on paying for tracking. Many a time I had to eat that cost and replace a lost shirt. I chose to trust my clients and maintain a good reputation. After enough losses I learned the hard way to just spring for tracking.

If I sound upset it's because I am. I've never had a car in a car show before. I go to this show every year drooling over all of your cars. My brother was planning on driving 8 hours to go with me. It was one of the pillars of my summer plans. Now I'm just so angry about the unprofessionalism of how I was treated that I cannot seem to temper down about it. I am sick and tired of everything having to be a hassle and not getting what I pay for.

I understand your frustration, I have had some past issues with the show organizers myself. I suggest doing the charge back on your card and register at the gate. Try not to lose sight of why you want to attend in the first place, to see a bunch of cool cars and be around other Mopar enthusiasts. I walked in to the show for many years, driving in is a completely different experience. Go and have a fun weekend with your brother and don’t let the club BS steal your joy. It’s an easy drive from Prescott to Farmington, which is fun in itself…

Me too. I hate to even make hotel reservations so far ahead but I can cancel a day or two before the show. You never know what may happen and you can't attend. It sounds like BynaBro has had a hard time of it and I don't blame him for giving up. It's more than frustrating that his issue wasn't handled properly.

Thank you for the further clarification. It’s about 1000 miles for us. We have preregistered , and also registered the day of. A few people would ask if we had a Dana 60. I would say yes, then asked if they could look under the car. One actually said (it is) I had no idea that he doubted me.
Very fond memories. As you know, sometimes certain things happen that turn a person away. My humble opinion is, don’t let the bad taste ruin an outing that you and your brother planned as an important get together.

Oh man that's all day every day at every car and bike show in the world. I used to be really into vintage British bikes and recall a time when some weirdo got extremely aggressive that I corrected him on his claim that a part of a custom bike I was interested in was from a 1952 Bonneville. First Bonneville model was 1959. Just google it, guy. I didn't even bother with a second stanza after how pissy he got right off the bat. People misspeak on these details all the time, I get it, it happens to me on thing I OWN sometimes. Numbers get jumbled as we get older. But I don't get offended with some stranger when my own memory betrays me. Nowadays anytime I run across that breed of know-nothing know-it-all I just quietly take my leave. I'm just here to look at rare pretty vehicles and occasionally talk to the owner when I see something I want to learn about. I get plenty of fights three nights a week with other actual combat athletes. Last thing I need is a lawsuit from crazy car show guy.
