OK, I am going to assume you question is basically "where the he** do all these wires go?"
I'll try to answer with some pictures and description, but I am sure I won't get it all. Hopefully this will be a start to help you out. As others said, the wiring diagram is important to learn and spend some time with. Hopefully my pictures can help you out.
Tis first one is the left side of the instrument cluster. The switch that is connected is the headlight switch, and the one that has just been disconnected is the dimmer. Lamp socket with two wires coming out of it is the brake light bulb. The green wire lamp socket is the left turn signal. The orange wire in the background is the gauge light.
This picture is looking over the top of the back of the cluster. The tick tock tach is on the left and the speedo is next to it. Orange wires are gauge lights (including my wrong green wire attached - this must have been a fix someone put in), red wire is high beam indicator. The grey wire coming out of the tack is the tack or clock wire - I forget which.
A bit further down the line. Here, the lamp socket with the neutral color is the right turn signal. The connector for the fuel, oil and temp gauges is next to it. It is not plugged in properly in this picture. It only goes in one way, so it will be obvious how it connects...
Here is the back of the tick tock tach. I forget which wire is which, but they only fit one way. Note that the spade connector farthest to the left in this picture has a nub on it so the plastic connector has a slot in it to fit.
OK. I will post this and then look for some more...

OK, here are a few more.
This goofy connector in the upper right foreground of this picture is the wiper connector. I have three speed wipers, so this is wiring for that. Notice that when the goofy connector is unplugged, two separate wires are left - they are in the background in this picture.
Here is a close-up of those two wires. In this shot, the one wire has now been disconnected...
Finally, this is the washer motor. Just make sure brown goes on the right connector and brown goes on the left connector.
(doesn't matter ;-)
I hope these are some help to you. Good luck with your project!
...Now as payment, let's see some pictures of your car!!!!
