Hi,
I´m looking for this aluminum tube line, that was part of the Milodon Single Line Oil System way back in the days. Also the short rubber hose that connected this tube line to the Pick-up.
Hope you can help me.
Thanks, Stefan

I have a brand new one of those hard lines. I also have a few of the braided ljnes as well - not sure if they're the "short" one unless you can tell me the length you need send me an email at [email protected]

Just make one. Piece of tubing, bent, cut and a/n adaptors at each end. short piece of hose. Easier yet is a 180° hose end and braided hose. easily done and easier to route.

HI STEFAN , IF I MAY ASK WHY DO YOU WANT TO RUN THAT HARD LINE ? I'VE RUN THAT HARD LINE MANY MOONS AGO YOU CAN JUST RUN 1 -12 LINE, ONLY TWO CONNECTION POINTS NOT 4,WITH THE FLARE UNION THAT CONNECTS THE ALUMINUM PIPE TO THE STEEL BRAIDED -12 LINE
IF ONE OF THOSE FITTING CONNECTIONS BECOME LOOSE YOU COULD BE SUCKING IN AIR BUBBLES IN TO THE PUMP AERATING YOUR OIL AND NOT EVEN KNOW IT AIR DON'T SUPPORT THE LOAD OF A CRANKSHAFT. I'M RUNNING A SINGLE LINE SETUP ON MY 493 AND ZERO ISSUES. ONE NOTE GET GOOD QUALITY FITTINGS AND LINE THE FITTINGS THAT MILODON SELLS THESE DAYS ARE CHINESE AND HAVE HERD STORIES THAT THEY ARE PRONE TO FAILURE USE AEROQUIP FITTINGS IF POSSIBLE. GOOD LUCK

"IF ONE OF THOSE FITTING CONNECTIONS BECOME LOOSE YOU COULD BE SUCKING IN AIR BUBBLES"

Holy crap ... and to think that every aircraft on the planet relies on these fittings !!!

Stan, Stan, the aircraft around the world are not using the same fittings. And yes fitting come loose on aircraft all the time, ever been on a tarmack at an airport and look where a plane was or is parked ?those stains came from a leaking connection on an aircraft.
my point is why have 4 connection point when you can have two .less chance for failure. it really not the fittings so much but the way that aluminum line is routed and the flare union connection is in a bad spot up close to the motor mount and block it an old design that has met its time.Milodon did away with that line along time ago.I have run Milodon systems for 30 years on my cars.
as far as fittings go
aircraft are required to use MIL-SPEC rated fittings not the crapolla that's available to general public .what is mil spec you ask Mill spec means it's made to the standard that the military demands. Military equipment is built with toughness and quality in mind and must meet stringent high standards.
you can buy Military Spec grade fittings. but they cost far more than what out on the streets ..Russel's, Earls, Jeg's... are not required to meet the same standards
with that said i'm just tying to help out a fellow Mopar brother so he doesn't waste his time ,money, or motor.
I thought that's what this site was about, trying to help each other achieve Mopar Nirvana.

Thank you all for your input and good info.
The reason I want the alu tube line and rubber instead of braided lines, is I want my build to be period correct for the SS/B cars. 1968-69 season i.e.
Being an old farmer, I may even have some old fitting to make one. But correct appearance is an importante part of this project, so let see what you have got, Stanton. You got a PM.
The Barracuda will only see Nostalgia Racing, no street racing with this one :)
Keeping this Racer in shape, is going to be very much part of the fun owning it.
Yes MOPAWER871, very nice oil system and engine compartment...
Thank you all again
Stefan
