I'm working my '66 Belvedere and was wondering if any of you guys have mini tubbed a '66 or '67 and kept the rear seat. If so how much modification was there to it? I'd love to keep mine if its not too much work. Thanks again!

If you are just moving inboard 3 inches it will not interfere. Wheel tubs are behind the seat.

Sorry but you are incorrect on this. Both the seat bottom and the back are made to clear the lower most forward part of the stock wheel houses.

It's not a problem keeping your back seat. The key is to keep a small notch where the seat backs up to the panel.

If you think about it, the tubs are considerably longer than the actual wheelwells and, unless your tires large enough to require 'stretching' the wheelwells, there is 'vacant' space to work with. Even a small 'pie cut' at the front won't interfere.

Once you cut the inner tub out, put the seat back in, and you can see the small area you must notch to keep the seat in place.

Good luck with the project.
